Most personal trainers work in isolation from your medical history. At MBODY, our trainers are embedded in a physical therapy and wellness clinic- which means they work directly alongside your PT, know your injury history, understand your pelvic floor, and build programming that accounts for where you body actually is, not where it used to be.

This is what makes MBODY’s personal training different in Westlake Village. If you finish PT and want to keep building, your trainer already knows you. If you’re new to lifting and want to do it right for the first time, our coaches have the clinical backing to make sure you do. The training and the rehab are part of the same plan.

We offer private one-on-one session, duo and trio training, and growing schedule of classes and cohort programs- including a 6-week strength lab, a beginner lifting class and silver circuit for adults 55 and older.

Already a PT client at MBODY? Ask your physical therapist about transitioning to training. We make that handoff intentional- not an afterthought.

Private, Duo & Trio Personal Training in Westlake Village

We now offer three personal training formats to fit your goals, schedule and budget. All formats include the same caliber of coaching- the difference is how many people share the session.

  • The most personalized experience we offer. Every minute of the session is yours- the programming, the coaching cues, the pacing and the adjustments. Ideal for clients coming out of PT, those with specific goals or limitations, or anyone that wants undivided attention from their trainer.

    Best for: post-rehab, specific goals, injury history, beginners or anyone who wants full attention.

  • Train with one other person- a friend, partner or someone at a similar level. You’ll get shared session with programming that works for both of you, at a lower per-session cost than private training. The energy of having someone alongside you is real. So is the accountability.

    Best for: pairs with similar goals, friends who train together, partners and spouses, mother and daughters.

  • Three clients, one trainer, one focused session. Trio training keeps the quality high while making expert coaching more accessible. A great option for small groups of friends who are serious about getting results- without paying private session rates.

    Best for: friend groups, small teams, clients who thrive with a little competition, more flexibility needed than class schedule.

Who we train

New to Lifting

You’ve never really lifted weights, or it’s been long enough that it feels that way. Lift and Load and private training are both built for you- no experience required, no judgement, no pretending the barbell is intuitive when it isn’t.

Adults 55+

Silver Circuit and private training for older adults is designed to build strength that directly improves quality of life- balance, bone density, functional mobility, and independence. Progressively challenging, always safe, and led by trainers who understand aging physiology.

Post-PT & Injury Recovery

You’ve finished physical therapy and you’re ready to keep building- but going back to a gym without guidance feels risky. Our PT-to-Training pathway exists for exactly this. Your trainer inherits your clinical context and builds from there.

Chronic Pain & Mobility Issues

When movement has been painful or limited, returning to exercise requires more than a good trainer- It requires coordination with clinical care. At MBODY, that coordination is built into how we work. You train safely because your trainer knows your limits and your goals.

Postpartum Moms

Cleared by your OB but not sure what that actually means for the gym? Our trainers work alongside pelvic floor PTs and understand exactly what postpartum strength training should look like- for your core, your pelvic floor and your whole body.
