Most women’s health programs stop at clinical care. You get treated, you’re discharged, and you’re left to figure out the rest on your own. MBODY was built to close that gap. Our women’s health program combines pelvic floor physical therapy, evidence-based fitness, community cohorts, expert-led education, and ongoing support- all coordinated by the same team.

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy
Specialist care for bladder, bowel, pelvic pain, prenatal and postpartum conditions. One-on-one, full session with a doctor of physical therapy.
Pelvic floor physical therapy is a specialized area of PT focused on the muscles, connective tissue, and nerves that support the bladder, bowel and reproductive organs. When the pelvic floor isn’t functioning well- whether too weak, too tight, or uncoordinated- the effects show up as leaking, pelvic pain, pressure, painful intercourse, constipation and more. These symptoms are common. They are not something you simply have to live with, and they are almost never resolved by Kegel exercises alone.
At MBODY, pelvic floor PT is delivered by clinicians who specialize in this area. Your evaluation is private, thorough, and conducted with full respect for your comfort. We use advanced assessment techniques- including standing pelvic floor assessments that reflects how your body actually functions in real life- to build a treatment plan that addressed the root cause, not just the symptoms

You don’t need to have “just had a baby” to benefit from pelvic floor PT. We treat women across all stages of life- from their first pregnancy to menopause and beyond. Pelvic floor dysfunction is not a postpartum-only problem, and this care is not a luxury. It is foundational.
Every pelvic floor PT session at MBODY is a full 50 minutes with your specialist. We do not share your time, delegate to aides, or rush through evaluations. California is a direct-access state- no referral is needed to book.
A 25-minute prenatal bodywork session combining manual therapy and therapeutic taping to address the aches that come with a growing belly- round ligament pain, pregnancy back pain, hip pain, rib tightness, and pelvic pressure. This isn’t a relaxation massage. It’s hands-on prenatal manual therapy, designed for exactly what pregnancy does to your body.
Taping during pregnancy works because your body can’t take a break. As your belly grows, your center of gravity shifts and your muscles are constantly compensating. Prenatal kinesiology taping provides external support to overloaded structures- offloading pressure from the low back, supporting the belly, and reducing strain on muscles that are working overtime. The tape moves with you, which means relief that lasts beyond the table.

C-Section Scar Therapy
Your scar is healed. That doesn’t mean it feels normal.
Tightness, numbness, hypersensitivity, that strange shelf-like ridge. These are common after a cesarean, and they’re treatable. C-section scare massage and scar tissue mobilization begins where more postpartum care doesn’t: with the scar itself.
Sessions start with gentle scar desensitization- light touch, texture work, and progressive pressure- before introducing cupping to release c-section scar adhesions and improve mobility in the surrounding tissue. Many women have never touched their scar. Some are afraid to. This session meets you exactly there.

Pelvic Floor Fitness Classes
At MBODY, we offer specialized classes designed to strengthen and support your body during pregnancy and beyond. Led by experienced instructors well-versed in pelvic floor health and prenatal fitness, our classes combine safe and effective exercises.
Pelvicore: Our introductory pelvic floor course and strength class that combines fitness and pelvic floor therapy, catering to new and expectant mothers.
Bump It Up: Elevate your pregnancy and postpartum journey with "Bump It Up"- a functional fitness class exclusively designed for new and expecting moms led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. From nurturing your core and pelvic floor to functional strengthening, we'll empower you to be at your strongest as you prepare for motherhood.
Prenatal Yoga: Led by Doula Mary Skinner, Prenatal Yoga is designed for expectant mothers to improve physical fitness, reduce stress and improve flexibility.
Postpartum Power: A strength and conditioning focused class for returning to higher intensity exercise in the postpartum period. With a focus on total body strengthening, you will feel empowered and stronger. Non-crawling littles welcome!
Mommy + Mini Yoga Flow: Bring your little to a fun and interactive yoga flow designed for both mom and baby, followed by a serene sound bath to create a peaceful atmosphere for you and your little yogi.

The Motherhood Movement
At MBODY Physical Therapy and Wellness, we believe support shouldn’t be episodic, it should meet you where you are and carry you through. The Motherhood Movement is our cohort-based program built for every phase of the perinatal journey: pregnancy and postpartum. Small groups, expert-led, with real education and real community built in.
Our two cohorts- Prepare and Rebuild- are designed to work together as a full continuum of care, from your first trimester through postpartum recovery.
PREPARE
For the pregnant mama- wherever you are in your pregnancy.
Prepare is a comprehensive pregnancy cohort that takes you from building a strong foundation of strength through functional movement, mobility and birth preparation as you get closer to labor & delivery. You don’t need to join at a specific point- this cohort meeds you where you are and progresses with you.
Sessions cover functional strength training, core and pelvic floor preparation, labor positions, breathing techniques, and strategies for a more confident birth experience. Led by experts in prenatal fitness and pelvic floor health, every session is designed around what your body can do- and what’s it’s preparing to do.
Rebuild is MBODY’s flagship postpartum program- and for good reason. This is not a generic “return to exercise” class. It is a structured, progressive, expert-led program designed to restore your body from the inside out: core stability, pelvic floor function, strength and confidence.
Whether you had a vaginal birth or a c-section, whether you’re six weeks postpartum or six month, Rebuild meets you where you are. Led by skilled physical therapists, every session is grounded in evidence and tailored to the realities of postpartum recovery- because returning to your body after birth deserves more than guesswork.

Essentials for Childbirth & Beyond is MBODY’s comprehensive, expert-led birth prep series- a four-week course that brings together specialists you actually need to hear from before your baby arrives.
Each session is led by different experts. You leave with real knowledge, a real network, and real confidence- not just a breathing technique and a goodie bag.
Prenatal Massage

Every trimester.
Pregnancy changes everything about how your body feels, and regular prenatal massages can make a significant difference. Our massage therapists are fully trained in prenatal massage, so you’re in skilled hands no matter who you see. We use a specialized pregnancy pillow that allows expectant mothers to life face down comfortably and fully- something most massage tables can’t offer. Every session is tailored to where you are in your pregnancy, whether you’re managing first trimester fatigue (after 12 weeks), mid-pregnancy back and hip tension, or third trimester swelling and discomfort.
Prenatal massage supports more than just physical relief. Regular sessions during pregnancy have been shown to reduce anxiety, improve sleep, decrease cortisol levels, and support overall wellbeing for both mom and baby. Our team takes time to understand your history, your concerns, and your comfort before every session.

Fertility Support Group
Second and Fourth Tuesday of each month at 630pm!
On ongoing community for women navigating fertility challenges- a space to connect, share, and feel less alone in a process that can be profoundly isolating.
Fertility challenges affect roughly one in eight women- and yet the experience is still largely carried in private. The appointments, the waiting, the grief, the uncertainty. MBODY’s fertility support group exists to change that.
This is an ongoing community-based group for women in the Conejo Valley who are on a fertility journey- whether navigating IVF, IUI, unexplained fertility, pregnancy loss or simply trying and waiting. It is not a clinical program. It is a room full of women who get it.
