Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy
Pelvic floor physical therapy at MBODY, under the guidance of our pelvic floor specialists, focuses on assessing and addressing conditions like pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, postpartum recovery and other related concerns. Using evidence-based techniques and personalized treatment plans, MBODY’s approach aims to improve pelvic floor function, providing patients with tailored exercises, manual therapy and education to enhance outcomes.
Pelvic Floor Fitness Classes
At MBODY, we offer specialized classes designed to strengthen and support your body during pregnancy and beyond. Led by experienced instructors well-versed in pelvic floor health and prenatal fitness, our classes combine safe and effective exercises.
Pelvicore: Our introductory pelvic floor course and strength class that combines fitness and pelvic floor therapy, catering to new and expectant mothers.
Bump It Up: Elevate your pregnancy and postpartum journey with "Bump It Up"- a functional fitness class exclusively designed for new and expecting moms led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. From nurturing your core and pelvic floor to functional strengthening, we'll empower you to be at your strongest as you prepare for motherhood.
Prenatal Yoga: Led by Doula Mary Skinner, Prenatal Yoga is designed for expectant mothers to improve physical fitness, reduce stress and improve flexibility.
Mommy and Me Fitness: Join our Mommy and Me Fitness class for a fun and active bonding experience. Strengthen your body and your connection with your little one through interactive exercises.
Postpartum Power: A strength and conditioning focused class for returning to higher intensity exercise in the postpartum period. With a focus on total body strengthening, you will feel empowered and stronger. Non-crawling littles welcome!
Mommy + Mini Yoga Flow: Bring your little to a fun and interactive yoga flow designed for both mom and baby, followed by a serene sound bath to create a peaceful atmosphere for you and your little yogi.
The Motherhood Movement
At MBODY Physical Therapy and Wellness, we offer a series of carefully crafted cohorts to support you throughout your pregnancy and postpartum journey. Whether you’re in your second trimester looking to build strength, approaching labor and birth, or recovering after delivery, our expert-led small group programs provide education, movement, and community designed specifically for your needs.
Our Motherhood Movement cohorts — Prime, Prepare, and Rebuild — are structured to guide you step-by-step with evidence-based exercises and personalized support, empowering you to feel strong, prepared, and connected every step of the way.
Prime Cohort: Focused on the second trimester, the Prime cohort emphasizes strength training and functional movement tailored to your changing body. This program helps you build and maintain strength safely, improve posture, and prepare your body for the demands of pregnancy and beyond.
Prepare Cohort: Designed for the third trimester, the Prepare cohort guides you through essential labor preparation. With expert-led sessions, you’ll learn breathing techniques, labor positions, pelvic floor readiness, and recovery strategies to support a smoother birth experience while feeling strong and maintaining strength in the third trimester.
Rebuild Cohort: Our Rebuild cohort is designed for the postpartum phase, helping you safely and effectively restore strength, mobility, and function after birth. This program focuses on rebuilding core stability, pelvic floor health, and overall fitness to support your body’s recovery and help you return to daily activities and exercise with confidence. Led by skilled physical therapists, Rebuild offers guided exercises and education tailored to your unique postpartum journey in a supportive group environment.
Birth Prep Course
Next course will start on September 4th, 2025!
Prepare for the incredible journey of childbirth through MBODY’s comprehensive four-part series Birth Prep Course. Led by a team of expert professionals, each month-long course delves into essential topics. From pelvic PT during pregnancy to labor techniques and positions with Doula Mary Skinner. In addition to covering the changing body’s needs, Melodee Bartel, MSN, RN, provides guidance for unforeseen circumstances, and Ashley Karlin, OTR, IBCLC will explore postpartum care and lactation to ensure a smooth transition into motherhood.
Prenatal Massage
Experience unparalleled comfort during our prenatal massage sessions with Arianna Cerrillo, CMT or Michelle Garcia. With our specialized pregnancy pillow, expectant mothers can relax face down, enjoying a soothing and tailored massage designed to alleviate pregnancy discomforts.
