REFORMER PILATES
THE MBODY DIFFERENCE
Most reformer Pilates classes- even private ones- are led by instructors whose training centers on Pilates methodology. Ours are led by clinicians at our Westlake Village location whose training centers on the human body.
That means when you mention a previous injury, we don’t just modify around it. We address it. When your form breaks down, we understand the biomechanical reason why- and we fix it. It’s why clients come to us from across the Conejo Valley- looking for something more than a drop-in class.
If you’re in physical therapy with us, Pilates becomes a part of your plan. If you’re not, it’s still informed by the same clinical thinking that makes MBODY different from everywhere else.
Not a studio.
A clinical setting.
What to expect.
Whether you’ve never touched a reformer or you’ve been doing Pilates for years, your first session at MBODY starts the same way- with us listening. Here’s how it typically goes.
We learn your body.
History, goals, limitations, what’s worked, what hasn’t. This isn’t a form, it’s a conversation.
We assess your movement.
A brief functional assessment helps us see where your body compensates so we can program around it, and through it.
We build your session.
No template. Just a sequence designed and modified specifically for your body on that day.
We evolve it over time.
Every session informs your next. Your programming gets sharper as we understand your body better.
Built for your body,
wherever it is right now.
Expecting moms
Strengthen your pelvic floor, maintain mobility, and prepare your body for birth- safely, with a clinician who knows what’s changing.
New moms
Reconnect with your core, address diastasis recti, and rebuild strength from the inside out. We work with where you are, not where you were.
Injury recovery
Controlled, progressive, movement that rebuilds strength without aggravating the injury. Coordinated with your PT plan when applicable.
Chronic pain &
older adults
Improve stability, reduce pain, and move with more confidence. The reformer is exceptionally well-suited for low-impact, high-return work.
“Pilates isn’t about how your body looks. It’s about how it moves- and what it can do.”
